Grip : GRIP March 2013
FINANCE GRIP FINANCE MARKETING INITIATIVES George Laggis Financial Controller SUBARU Finance has started 2013 with its strongest January Net Amount Financed (NAF) result on record and is looking to continue to excel throughout the year. Records don’t just happen. They require support from both Subaru Australia and the retailer, which is why Subaru Finance is investing heavily in marketing to increase our brand awareness and customer penetration. Here are some of the initiatives we are currently working on: Website: subaru.com.au The greatest opportunity for growing brand awareness is online, which is why we are in the process of completely overhauling subaru.com. au/finance-insurance. The improvements include updated finance calculators, a new “Hints and Tips” section, fresh FAQs, a heavier focus on “Call To Action” (CTA) and enhanced navigation. The CTA will deliver genuine enquiries to the nearest supporting Subaru Finance Retailer, generating real leads that can be conver ted into a Subaru Finance sale. Once the overhaul is complete, we will focus on driving customers to the new look website through online advertising, including search engine marketing and display advertising. Subaru Finance Point Of Sale (POS) To complement our online presence we are also working on a range of refreshed POS material, including kids activity books, along with new additions to the range. Further, we are working on streamlining the POS material ordering process to make it easier for you to get your hands on what you want and need. Ordering will be done through Markitforce, following the same procedure as for sales brochures. We will be issuing a bulletin with the available POS material and the ordering process shor tly. However, with thousands of active customers there is great potential to retain loyal customers in a brand new Subaru through Subaru Finance. To help in this process, we are working on a new look Subaru Finance welcome letter and, in the second half of 2013, a Subaru Finance eDM will be sent to all existing Subaru Finance customers. These are just some of the great initiatives that we will be running this year, all with the aim of increasing your finance penetration, resulting in increased commission, Power On and Structured Margin. The team and I are here to help and would love to hear from you should you have anything you’d like to discuss.
