Grip : GRIP November 2012
AFTERSALES GRIP Joanne Scanlon Customer Experience Manager The network is on track to deliver a strong Quarter 4 NPS result and finish the Oct. 2012 YTD 2012 Region Result Region Result Melbourne 77.7 Southern 72.8 Southern 74.4 Melbourne 72.4 Sydney 72.3 Sydney 69.0 Eastern 66.7 Eastern 68.1 Tasmania 65.0 Western 66.4 Western 59.3 Tasmania 65.5 Northern 59.2 Northern 63.7 Brisbane 49.9 Brisbane 57.7 STRONG START TO FINAL QUARTER Damian Robinson Category Manager - Repair & Service Parts WE are excited to announce that Subaru Australia will begin switching its genuine engine oil range across to Castrol EDGE Professional from November 2012. After the successful relaunch of Castrol EDGE Professional in the third quarter of 2011, we recognised the unique benefits of being associated with the new range – par ticularly the micro filtration and signature colouration product enhancements. The catalyst for the move was our desire to leverage of f Castrol’s continued product innovation and R&D. What is changing? The Subaru Genuine Engine Oil range will be transitioning to a “Subaru Australia Recommends Castrol EDGE Professional” range, with some of the products expanded to new sizes, including 20 litre and 205 litre options coming at a later date. The other notable change is the external package, moving from silver bottles with Subaru branding to a gold bottle year ahead of target. Our overall October result was 66.0, while the sales score was 71.2, and service 60.8. Melbourne was the top region in October for overall, while Southern and Sydney both did well with results over 70. Year-to-date, Southern leads, but is locked in a tight tussle with Melbourne for top spot (see char t below). To assist with improving service customer experiences, we recently launched the Subaru Retailer Operating Standards. And don’t forget that self audits are due on December 7. CASTROL NOW RECOMMENDED with Castrol branding, with a well positioned ‘Subaru Recommends - Castrol EDGE Professional’ logo which is an Australian first. Another notable change is the diesel engine oil now moving to a new viscosity of 0W-30, from the 5W-30, which has been available since the launch of the diesel range in 2009. More information on this new product can be located on service information bulletin SI0204. We will be communicating the change in all retail channels over the coming months, including in Symmetry, on Subaru.com. au and in Network News. The new range appears in the chart below left. Special Introduction Rebate To help with introduction and uptake of the new range, all purchases of the following products placed on a stock order, will receive a five per cent rebate payable at month’s end back Part Number Size Description SAS1089 1 Litre 5W-30 Synthetic Oil SM SAS1078 5 Litre 5W-30 Synthetic Oil SM SAS1082 1 Litre 0W-30 Synthetic Diesel Oil C3 SAS1071 6 Litre 0W-30 Synthetic Diesel Oil C3 SAS1088 1 Litre 0W-20 Synthetic Oil SM SAS1087 5.5 Litre 0W-20 Synthetic Oil SM SAS1077 5 Litre 10W-30 Mineral Oil SM to your parts account (see chart below right).
