Well done Steve. “We would like to take this opportunity to compliment Steve for his fabulous customer service at the Key Motors Subaru dealership in Townsville. My husband and I recently purchased the new XV Crossover. This being the fifth new car we have purchased over the past 12 years, we have to say that we have NEVER experienced such wonderful new car sales AND after sales service as we have experienced with Steve. Right from the day we wandered into Subaru to have a look at the XV, Steve showed us right through the whole car, took us on a test drive and answered all our questions. He then happily let us leave to make our decision without making us feel ‘pressured’ as many car sales people unfortunately do. We left feeling very happy and confident that we knew everything we needed to know about the car, and because of Steve’s comprehensive information and service, we knew before we’d even left the dealership that the XV would be the car we were purchasing. The aspect that also stands out with Steve is the after sales service; it quite simply, is second to none. As mentioned, we have purchased a few new cars over the years and this is the first time we have had such wonderful after sales service, and the first time we have not been ‘forgotten about’ after the actual sale of the car. Steve made sure we knew that if we had any queries whatsoever not to hesitate to drop in and see him, which we have done (I had no idea how to connect the iPhone to the car, ha ha!!). We have also been in just this morning with a query about a light coming up on the dash regarding the automatic stop/ start, and Steve immediately jumped in the car and drove with me around to the service centre, where he had the car booked in straight away for the minor fault to be fixed. This is the kind of fabulous service Steve provides. Steve is cheerful, chatty, pleasant to speak with, and feels like a friend. His great service will be bringing us back in the near future when my husband replaces our other car with what we think will be the Impreza. Steve’s willingness to ‘drop everything’ and assist his customers without hesitation shows his wonderful work ethic and top-notch service. Nik Page, we truly hope you appreciate Stephen Gilboy for his exceptional customer service, and for being an extremely valuable asset to your dealership. These days customer service such as Steve’s is something we all don’t come across often enough. People like Steve are what make your dealership have a wonderful reputation and he should be compensated greatly for his fabulous work. Steve – Thank you for your exceptional customer service and for going the extra mile both during, and since, the sale of our new XV.
