AFTERSALES GRIP XV & 360 TOGETHER AT NATIONAL CONFERENCE Damian Robinson Category Manager - Repair & Service Parts Earlier this month over 170 delegates attended the Castrol 2012 National Sales and Marketing Lubricants Conference at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney, and two of the stars were Subaru exhibits. Castrol asked Subaru Australia to have vehicles on display and, as part of the conference theme was “looking to the future”, the XV was chosen, and fitted perfectly. Nothing represents the future better than the Subaru XV, the market leader in its class that clearly demonstrates Subaru’s advancement in technology and styling. As well as displaying the XV on the main floor, the classic Subaru 360 that was set up next to the café, was a real show stopper. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and we could have taken many orders if the vehicle was still in production! The conference was packed full of high calibre speakers, from an exciting line up of Castrol delegates, as well as international presenters, motivational guests and charity organisations. All combined to make it a highly effective conference. The Castrol delegates were also shown the new XV car wash commercial and we received positive feedback that it is one of the best TVCs currently airing. We would like to thank Castrol, our preferred oils and lubricants supplier, for the opportunity to showcase our new and old technology, and demonstrate our long- standing relationship.
