Grip : GRIP December 2011
FINANCE, FLEET & CORPORATE GRIP corporate driver: part of sales success Andrew Sinclair National Manager Corporate and Financial Services THE numbers make it very clear that Fleet and Corporate Sales remain integral to Subaru’s overall vehicle sales success, accounting for 25 per cent of overall sales this year and four per cent of the fleet and government market share. This gives the simple message to our customers that Subaru represents the intelligent choice in the Fleet and Corporate market. We continue to have a strong commitment to customers, are a leader in engineering performance, are committing strongly to making our vehicles environmentally friendly, plus security and safety features, and retained values are also key factors in Subaru sales. Looking forward, we need to continue to focus on the basics to ensure that all Fleet and Corporate customers understand the benefits of a Subaru, and why they need one. The Fleet and Corporate Sales Retailer Kit has been updated, and all dealerships are urged to use it to give you the best chance of securing new business. Through many years of work in this area, we know that the basics work, and if your dealership is not utilising the F&C Retailer Kit, you are missing opportunities. The Subaru Insurance- branded ‘purchase price insurance’ has recently been introduced, and we have also launched a new multi-policy discount through Subaru Insurance. We need to continue to ensure that dealerships are promoting the benefits of your branded facility to our loyal Subaru customers, and that you are maximising its value and reach. Looking forward to 2012, we will: continue the 20 per cent finance penetration hurdle for at least the first quarter; continue the Power On incentive and; launch a series of CRM activities targeted at Subaru Finance customers, including piloting a global leading equity forecasting CRM tool. There will be a series of retail customer campaigns, and a much greater focus on the internet. This ensures that 2012 will be a busy year for Subaru Finance, and we look forward to moving the brand further ahead.
