I take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy festive season and a rewarding 2012.” - Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia a generational game changer By Nick Senior Managing Director THEY have been a long time coming, but the the new XV and Impreza arrive early in 2012 and both present exciting oppor tunities. We know the XV is almost a generational game changer like the Forester was back in 1997, some 15 years ago. For a limited time we have the chance for the Impreza to leapfrog its opposition and for us to embed it in the minds of the general public as the first choice in the small car category. So I implore everyone in the network to make a super effort with the latest models and technology flowing Australia’s key cycling organisations have formed an alliance with Subaru to promote the sport nationwide. Sport 2011 was one of the most challenging ever faced by Subaru in Australia, but the good news is it’s behind us! Marketing Subaru’s latest sports car - the exciting BRZ - is set to make its debut in Australia in June next year. Coming up into showrooms around the country – be that XV, Impreza or EyeSight. And we can use this brand momentum to build support across our range – to Forester, Outback Liberty and Tribeca – cars that remain so vital to our success. While we look to the future we need to thank everyone who has worked so hard in the past 12 months to get the brand to where it is today, despite the issues faced. This special edition of GRIP captures the key elements of recent presentations made to dealer principals and staff, and I hope you enjoy it. New XV & Impreza Launch Highlights
